The ALTEN Delivery Center (ADC) is part of ALTEN and runs in-house projects. It consists of a permanent core team of specialists structured so that all necessary skills are within reach: engineers and testers, analysts and architects, project managers and technical specialists. Everything is in place for the full application lifecycle, from design and planning to realisation and operational support.
The activities are performed from five locations in the Netherlands: Eindhoven, Capelle aan den IJssel, Amstelveen, Apeldoorn and Groningen. This strong local network enables us to provide responsive support. For organisations seeking additional capacity, specialised technical skills, or flexible staffing solutions, nearshoring and offshoring are possible as well; ALTEN operates worldwide with Delivery Centers in nine countries.
ALTEN has offshore structures in Romania, Poland, Spain, Morocco, Mexico, China, South Korea, Vietnam, and India. The global organisation of our Technical Direction guarantees that quality control and project execution processes are identical, regardless of the country where the activity is conducted. Today, over 7,000 consultants work in ALTEN’s delivery centers.

The focus the ADC brings is project management using a proven approach. It is based on optimal collaboration between you and ALTEN, supported by project, meeting, and reporting structures to drive results and quality.
Scalability means flexibility in staffing. The number of specialists can be ramped up or down according to the needs of a project phase. Location is flexible; activities can be (partly) at your site. Need additional capacity or greater flexibility? With our delivery centers in countries within and outside of Europe, there are possibilities for nearshoring and offshoring.
Responsibility for the right expertise means the ADC is taking care of technology for the best fit, the tooling that is needed, and the right set of skills of the specialists involved.

When you entrust a project to the ALTEN Delivery Centre (ADC), you delegate delivery responsibility to our team. ADC engagements are driven by a commitment to performance and measurable results, whereas consultancy engagements are primarily focused on providing expertise and knowledge transfer.
The ALTEN Delivery Center offers three flexible service models:
Both competence outsourcing and agile projects are offered based on a service contract. Competence outsourcing is designed for long-term collaboration. A dedicated team builds, retains, and continuously expands its knowledge of your environment, becoming a trusted partner in the execution of your roadmap. This model provides a continuous commitment with a flexible scope, ensuring access to the right expertise while supporting your evolving business needs.
Agile projects focus on the short-term commitment of a project team. It is focused on bringing you value during every sprint of the project. The scope of each sprint is defined by your priorities and requirements, allowing functionality to be added, refined, or reprioritised throughout the project lifecycle. As a result, agile projects offer maximum flexibility in both scope and duration.
Fixed-price projects are characterised by a clear, agreed-upon end goal, and both scope and budget are set in advance. This model involves a dedicated project team working toward a predetermined outcome within agreed timelines and costs. Fixed-price projects are based on a fixed set of specifications. Any changes to the agreed scope are subject to mutual approval and may require additional budget and planning adjustments.

Covering the entire project lifecycle, this methodology provides a consistent and structured way of working across all ADC engagements.

A structured approach
Each project is supported by a Steering Committee, bringing together representatives from your organisation, ALTEN management, and the ADC. Meeting monthly or bi-monthly, the committee reviews project progress, budget, resources and quality, risks, and opportunities, ensuring that strategic objectives remain on track. In addition, the project team maintains regular operational touchpoints with your stakeholders, including:
- Sprint reviews and demonstrations to showcase progress and gather feedback
- Project management meetings to discuss status, dependencies, risks, and roadblocks
- Retrospectives
- Technical alignment meetings
