Marc Kooistra – PostNL

‘Test Management – van afdeling naar Community of Practice’

In zijn presentatie deelt Marc Kooistra (senior IT manager bij PostNL) zijn inzichten en ervaringen rondom de transitie bij  PostNL. Toen de IT-delivery-organisatie zich vol is gaan richten op agile en cloud-strategie, leverde dit enige verwarring op bij de centrale testafdeling. Vervolgens heeft deze afdeling zich omgevormd tot een Community of Practice die in staat is verscheidene Agile Release Trains te bedienen. Hoe deze transitie heeft plaatsgevonden en wat hieruit geleerd kan worden, hoort u in deze presentatie.

Marc Kooistra is manager van de afdeling Test Management binnen PostNL en leidt de Community of Practice voor Testers. Daarnaast is hij actief binnen het Test Automatiserings Gilde en als coach binnen PostNL. Marc heeft meer dan 20 jaar gewerkt als IT-manager gewerkt bij verschillende onderdelen van PostNL, waaronder Billing & Document Solutions, Extra@Home, eCommerce Services en Logistic Solutions. Hij woont in Leidschendam, is getrouwd en heeft drie dochters die alle drie voetballen. Privé is hij actief als voetbaltrainer en coach. Verder is Marc een enthousiast gamer.

Marc Kooistra is manager of the Test Management department within PostNL, and leads the Community of Practice for Testing. He is also an active member of the Test Automation Guild, and a coach withing PostNL. Marc has worked for over 20 years as IT manager for different departments in PostNL, such as Billing & Document Solutions, Extra@Home, eCommerce Services and Logistic Solutions. Marc lives in Leidschendam with his wife and three daughters, who all play soccer. In his personal time he is active as soccer trainer and coach. Marc is also an enthusiastic gamer.
