About the Role

As a Talent & Academy officer you will support the development and growth of our employees by coordinating talent management activities and learning initiatives across ALTEN Netherlands.

Working closely with the Team Lead Talent Development and the Team Lead Academy, you will ensure the smooth execution of performance management processes, employee development initiatives, and training programs. You will serve as a key point of contact for employees, managers, trainers, and suppliers, ensuring excellent employee experience while maintaining efficient and accurate administration.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Talent Development

  • Coordinate the planning, administration, and follow-up of performance review cycles across ALTEN Netherlands.
  • Monitor talent development processes and ensure timely completion of related actions.
  • Coordinate regular employee-manager check-ins and support career development discussions.
  • Maintain and update employee development data, reports, and tracking tools.
  • Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, including the recognition of anniversaries and key milestones.

 

Academy & Learning Coordination

  • Plan, organize, and coordinate internal and external training sessions.
  • Manage the training calendar and ensure the timely scheduling of learning activities.
  • Book training venues, meeting rooms, and associated facilities.
  • Coordinate participant registrations, invitations, attendance tracking, and communication.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for trainers, suppliers, and training participants.
  • Order and manage training materials and learning resources.
  • Follow up on purchase requests, invoices, and training-related administration.
  • Maintain accurate training records and documentation within internal systems.
  • Promote Academy activities through internal communication channels and social media.
  • Collect and consolidate participant feedback to support continuous improvement of training programs.

 

Reporting & Administration

  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date records for talent development and Academy activities.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and analyses using Excel and internal ALTEN tools.
  • Monitor training participation and completion rates.
  • Provide data and insights to support decision-making within the Talent Development and Academy teams.
  • Ensure compliance with established learning and development procedures and administrative processes.

Profile

  • You have achieved an MBO level 4 or above. Prior experience in Talent Development, Learning & Development, HR, or Training Coordination can be an asset but not a must.
  • Part-time (32 hours/week) preferred but full-time (40 hours/week) can also be possible.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • A proactive and service-oriented mindset.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with different stakeholders.
  • Fluent in both Dutch and English.

Reporting Line

The Talent & Academy Coordinator reports functionally to both the Team Lead Talent Development and the Team Lead Academy and supports learning and development activities for more than 500 employees across ALTEN Netherlands.
