Project Lead Software
We are looking for an experienced Project Lead / Product Owner to drive the development of systems within a fast-paced high-tech environment. You will work closely with engineering teams, stakeholders, and customers to define product strategy, manage deliverables, and ensure successful execution of complex development projects.
This position is ideal for someone who combines strong project leadership skills with a product-oriented mindset and has experience operating in highly technical environments such as semiconductor equipment, mechatronics, embedded systems, or industrial automation.
The role
- Lead complex embedded or applicative level projects from concept to delivery in a high-tech environment.
- Define project scope, requirements, roadmap, and milestones in alignment with stakeholders.
- Build project planning with its critical path, and adjust it till project completion.
- Coordinate multiskilled and international teams.
- Ensure structured execution following defined processes and governance models.
- Monitor and manage Quality, Productivity (Cost), and Time (QCT) performance.
- Detect issues and solve them in a timely manner.
- Identify risks and dependencies early and implement mitigation strategies.
- Manage stakeholders across multiple levels (engineering, program management, suppliers).
- Drive decision-making based on data, priorities, and technical constraints.
- Ensure alignment with system architecture, requirements, and integration plans.
- Provide accurate reporting on progress, risks, and performance.
Your profile
- MSc or BSc in Engineering (Software, Computer Science or similar)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management or technical leadership
- Proven experience in a complex high-tech environment (e.g. semiconductor, precision equipment, advanced manufacturing)
- Strong background in software engineering (C, C++, Python, Linux, UML, Clearcase, GIT, QT)
- Exposure to hardware development environments or system integration is a plus
- Strong planning, possibly in Agile way / SAFe, risk management, and stakeholder management capabilities
- Structured, analytical mindset with a strong sense of ownership
- Excellent communication skills in English
