Test Automation Engineer

 The Position

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Test Automation Engineer to join our team and contribute to ongoing client projects in the area of Capelle aan den Ijssel. 

As a Test Automation Engineer,  you play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. We are looking for someone who wants to seize the opportunity to develop their expertise in a stimulating environment where innovation and collaboration are key. Your main tasks will include: 

• Designing, developing and implementing test plans and test cases for software applications;
• Performing various types of tests, including functional, regression, acceptance and performance tests;
• Identifying and recording software errors and assisting in resolving them;
• Collaborate with development teams to implement test automation and improve continuous integration processes;
• Reporting test results to stakeholders and providing insights to improve the quality of the software.

Your Profile

• Experience as a Test Engineer or in a similar role within software development;
• Knowledge of test methods, tools and techniques, including test automation;
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile development methodologies;
• A proactive attitude and a passion for continuous improvement and innovation;
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization and with the customer;
• A positive attitude and willingness to continue learning and growing;
• You have a completed HBO or WO education in an IT-related field;
• You are fluent in English. Dutch is a bonus.
