In this position you can work and gain broad experience within different work areas and environments. Your work in this area lies at the intersection of software engineering and one or more scientific disciplines and requires a multidisciplinary approach.
Projects
Our projects are often characterized by a high mathematical content and we carry out in all market sectors, such as the development of dynamic models to calculate water flows or for monitoring CO2 from space, the simulation of layers of the earth or the development of algorithms to calculate other physical process data. The ideal opportunity for you to use your knowledge and develop yourself further.
Your profile
Education
- A completed university-level education or a PhD in Computer Science, Physics or Mathematics or a related field
Experience
You have experience with / knowledge of:
- Languages such as C, C++, Python, Fortran or modeling packages such as Matlab;
- Implementing numerical algorithms;
- Windows and/or Unix/Linux development environments;
Optional
It is not a requirement, but you have an advantage if you have knowledge of:
- Libraries like QT
- High performance computing, for example with CUDA or OpenMP
