The challenging and entrepreneurial role of Business Development Manager consists of 3 main pillars: Sales, People management and Recruitment. It is a broad and dynamic role in which you will be able to build your own team of customers, projects and consultants. You will work closely with your colleagues business managers, recruiters, office managers and of course the consultants. Your responsibilities will include:
- Acquiring development projects within the public sector;
- The follow-up of projects at your clients;
- Conducting selection interviews with consultants for your team;
- Supervising, coaching and managing your team of consultants.
Within the ALTEN we mainly focus on Engineering, Enterprise Services and Software Applications. After solid growth of this departments in Capelle a/d Ijssel and a number of leading customers, we are ready to expand further.
Although this new department needs to be built up, you are not alone in the office. With colleagues from the other departments from the team in Capelle a/d Ijssel, there is plenty of support available.
You have a completed Bachelor or Master's degree in a commercial or technical field with at least 8 years of relevant work experience.
Furthermore, you possess good communication skills, the ability to solve problems pragmatically, you are a team player and you have a high drive to further develop yourself in different areas.
